A place to belong, believe, and become good news for others.
While our parish no longer offers Catholic education through a traditional full-time elementary school, educating our youth in the Catholic faith remains one of our top priorities. Through the generosity of our parishioners, we are pleased to have the ability to offer the Legacy Scholarship Program to students in grades K-12. There are two options for families:
Please complete only one application. You will be asked to explain the ways in which you have made our parish your spiritual home. This year’s Legacy (Merit) Scholarships have been set at $1,000 for families with one child and $1,500 for families with more than one child. Additional funds are available on a case by case basis for the Assistance Program.
Upon receipt of your completed application and supporting documentation, scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will contact your school of choice and notify them of the award so that they can adjust your net tuition accordingly. The grant will be paid to the school over the course of the year.
In addition to the scholarship program, St. Joseph Parish holds a special Mass each year to celebrate all children in the parish who have received a sacrament (First Reconciliation, First Communion, or Confirmation) and all those graduating from either 8th grade or High School. Each child will receive a gift from the parish at this Mass.
