A place to belong, believe, and become good news for others.
Are you or a loved one in need of intercessory prayer? The Jonah Prayer Team can pray for anything that is on your heart (health, loss of job, broken relationships, guidance, peace, etc.) Bring your intentions to the baptismal font at the front of the church after the closing song of Mass is played at either the 9am, 11am, or 5pm Masses on the second Sunday of the month. The Jonah Prayer Team will meet you there to pray over you with expectant faith for God’s glory. Prayer team members are trained and approved by the pastor and they will keep all prayers confidential. They can even teach you how to express your needs in prayer.
Need prayer now? Contact the parish office at (636) 227-5247 and ask to be connected with a Jonah Prayer Team member.

Members of this Catholic organization live out their faith through devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary by means of daily recitation of the Rosary and works of evangelization (reciting and teaching the Rosary), including home visits to parishioners and non-Catholics, visits to nursing homes, prayer at wakes and funerals, distribution of the Pilgrim Statue of the Blessed Virgin, enthronement of the Sacred Heart in parish family homes, dissemination of Catholic literature, and spreading devotion to the exposition of and frequent reception of the Blessed Sacrament.
Meetings take place on Thursdays at 9:30 am in the church basement. The Rosary is prayed Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8:00 am in the Adoration Chapel. For contact information, see the parish directory.
The power of prayer is indeed miraculous. It is the presence of God embodied in the care and concern of the St. Joseph faith community. Power “pray-ers” are needed to build the chain and become indispensable links. If you are looking for a ministry you can do without leaving home, this is it! To leave an intention or to become one of our Power Pray-ers, find us in the parish directory.
As a Catholic community, we provide hope and support to one another during difficult times. Our ministry of consolation reaches out to parishioners during times of grief with ongoing phone and mail support. If you are experiencing grief or would like to assist this ministry, see the parish directory.
Each week, members of the parish conduct a Communion service for and pray the rosary with the residents of West County Care Center, Brookdale Senior Living, Big Bend Woods Healthcare Center, and Dougherty Ferry Assisted Living. Some volunteers assist with the Communion service and others prepare baked treats for residents. For contact information, see the parish directory.
