Our Strategic Planning Board of Directors has defined the following areas of concentration for our parish based on the data collected in our focus groups and surveys. Within each of these priorities there will be a number of strategic objectives that the team will be working on. A final plan will be presented to the parish on May 1, the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker.
Strategic Priority 1: Invigorate community – bless others abundantly by recruiting, involving, and inviting them to our diverse, multi-cultural parish.
Strategic Priority 2: Nurture lifelong relationships by building young families, children, and youth for growth and vitality, integrating the wisdom of our seniors and legacy traditions.
Strategic Priority 3: Create inspirational worship experiences at all liturgical services and in all adoration spaces to belong wholeheartedly as a Family of Christ.
Strategic Priority 4: Encourage deeper and meaningful faith formation experiences, increasing belief and confidence to share the Good News.
Strategic Priority 5: Improve and leverage facilities so parishioners and potential parishioners can become Good News for others using and sharing this space to fulfill physical, mental, social, spiritual, and emotional needs.
Strategic Priority 6: Build and strengthen SJM’s internal and external capabilities to communicate information and plan events using proactive, transparent systematized plans and tools; get in front of gossip and rumors that harm SJM’s vision.
