The words “Duc in altum” come from Luke 5:1-11 in which Jesus instructs Peter to go out into the deep and it is there that Peter catches a boatload of fish.  Decision Point will be an opportunity for those who wish to “Duc in altum” (go deeper) in the faith during the preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.  Participants in our Decision Point Program will meet on the following Thursdays with Fr. Pastorius and team at 7:15PM in the Education Center.
 

Duc in altum! These words ring out for us today, and they invite us to remember the past with gratitude, to live the present with enthusiasm and to look forward to the future with confidence: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

As a priest, I have witnessed some pretty horrible things and I have seen miracles happen.  I truly believe that the more one invests in his or her faith life the more one gets out of it. 

I hope you will consider joining me for the Decision Point program as you prepare for Confirmation.  In addition to all great content from Dynamic Catholic, I hope to be able to share with some of my faith life and help answer any questions that you may have. 

I promise you will walk away from Decision Point with a better understanding of the Catholic Faith and an experience of what it means to learn in a non-judgmental environment. 

Please prayerfully consider “putting out into deep with me” as a way to get out the most out of this time of preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Confirmation Preparation with Decision Point Schedule
